Same direction.

Ai changes how work is made. Not what makes it work.

Most production follows a pipeline. It ends when it’s “in the can.” Reshooting is costly, often impossible. Now one idea becomes many expressions—built, tested, and extended in the same environment. No resets. No reshoots. The work stays alive, able to evolve, refine, and expand over time.

RUDAI, pronounced like my name Rudi, is an extension of my work as a director.

The tools have changed. The discipline hasn’t.

I’m less interested in using AI to make things bigger, stranger, or more impossible. What interests me is whether it can make something feel closer to us.

A look. A pause. A small human exchange.

I’ve spent over twenty years directing those kinds of moments. AI gives me a new way to explore them, and the freedom to move from idea to image with a kind of immediacy I haven’t felt since I first picked up a camera.
